You will have the opportunity to go on speleological tours, guided by experts, at the famous Frasassi Caves, at Montelago Speleological Centre (Centro di Speleologia Montelago) or with the association Pioraco’s Speleological Group AL.VA.P

Le Marche region, together with beaches and sea, offers low hills and wooded mountains, but also a rocky and harsh territory with mountain creeks and hidden rivers. Thanks to this diversity, trekking trips and short or long walks in the woods and on the mountains are the best activities to fully appreciate the territory.

There are many stables in the area, among which Circolo Apache, where you can book horse-riding lessons or just go for a relaxing or adventurous horseback ride in the countryside.

There are many cliffs and some gyms where you can do rock climbing. You can contact Gufi Verdi association to have more information on the cliffs or to book climbing lessons or excursions.

30 Km far from Selvicolle, in Sarnano, there is the national flying school “Aero club dei Sibillini”, which offers touristic flights, flight introduction courses and improvers courses. Another option is booking gliding flights with the association Avventura nel Parco.

Game fishing is available at Sefro Lake, 20 Km far from Selvicolle.

In Camerino (4 Km far from Selvicolle) there is the sports centre CUS, which has also tennis courts and a swimming pool.

In 30 minutes’ drive you can reach the ski slopes of the amazing Monti Sibillini National Park, which is an area rich in towns that have ski resorts (Frontignano – Municipality of Ussita; Monte Prata – Municipality of Castelsantangelo sul Nera).

The association Astrofabriano offers guided astronomical observations, lessons and special observations.

If you love nature, with Avventura nel Parco you can discover the territory of the Sibillini Mountains Park through fun activities for everyone, for adults and children.

You can discover the Park through rafting in Biselli di Norcia, descending on the river Corno on board of a raft with your friends or your family, along with a rafting guide that will give you the necessary instructions to get off the river in complete tranquility. The activity is also suitable for children. During the rafting you can have fun at the adventure park above the trees with Tibetan bridges, monkey bridges, Tyrolean and cableways, all in a very special environment: that of the river.

Another adventure park is that of Lake Fiastra (Marche), in a beautiful landscape, characterized by the lake nestled between the Sibillini Mountains. The adventure park is right on the lake, with Tibetan bridges, rope passes and a cableway that runs over the 130-meter long lake!

In addition to the adventure park, always at the lake of Fiastra, it is possible to try orienteering with a map and compass looking for points on the territory, and archery that always pleases everyone from adults to children. Even these activities are within everyone’s reach, easy and conducted in complete safety, thanks to the operators on the spot.

If you’ve never flown and you’d like to do it there is a two-seater paraglider flight in complete safety with the instructor, flying over the Sibillini Mountains with unique and characteristic landscapes of the Umbria-Marche Apennines.

If, on the other hand, you want to keep your feet on the ground, you can discover the Park with guided walks and snowshoeing on easy and suggestive itineraries accompanied by naturalistic guides, or try the laser tag, a team game based on military simulation.

Not far from Selvicolle you can find the VerdeAzzurro Aqua-Park   and theEldorado Aqua-Park  (Apiro – MC), to entertain young and old alike!

There are many outlets and the outlets in the area, knitting mills, jeans, sporting goods, children’s clothing, toys, footwear, leather goods and household items, all of the best brands.

It’s a type of paste cooked in the oven, similar to lasagna, typical of Le Marche region and of the places in Umbria region, neighbouring Macerata. The difference with the lasagna is in the type of ragù sauce, made with thicker bits of meat, and in the white sauce, which is more compact. Besides that, the taste of the spices (such as cloves and nutmeg) is stronger than in the lasagna.
